Purpose
The articles on this site explain adult ADHD in plain language for people deciding whether to seek an evaluation. They are general information, not medical advice, and they are not a substitute for an evaluation by a clinician who knows your history.
Who writes and reviews our content
Articles are prepared for the practice by writers working with our website team. An article is labeled “medically reviewed” only when a named clinician has actually reviewed it, and the label shows who reviewed it and when. Dr. Shershow is not credited as the author or reviewer of an article unless he wrote or reviewed it.
Sources and accuracy
Clinical statements should be supported by current, reputable sources such as clinical practice guidelines, government health agencies and peer-reviewed research. Articles show the date they were last updated.
