I am a stay at home mom and wife of a firefighter. I home-school my youngest girl (12 years old). My oldest is 14 years old. My husband and I have been happily married for 16 years.
My first episode of depression started directly after the birth of my second daughter. I had 2-3 episodes of depression before the birth of my second daughter, but they all resolved without meds. The depression after my second's birth was far worse. I was at a standstill - crying all the time, erratic mood swings, couldn't sleep, mind-raced and had terrible thoughts.
After learning my insurance would cover TMS Therapy, I decided to receive treatment. I had tried so many meds, I was ready to be off of them for good. After I think the 5th or 6th treatment I started to notice it working. I was weaned off of my medication as I started to feel better and treatments didn't hurt as they did in the beginning. My life has changed since receiving TMS Therapy. I don't need meds anymore so I'm not dealing with side effects. I'm starting to lose the weight that I gained while on the meds. I have real emotions. I am me again, not some watered down version of me.

I am a married woman, mother of two and grandmother of three. I am a small business owner. I first suffered from Depression when I was 18 years old. I had to take extensive time off of work due to being incapacitated with deep depression. My disease caused estrangement from my family and friends.
TMS Therapy was wonderful! I noticed a response quickly - after one week. My libido increased. Family and also friends (who were not aware I was receiving treatment) were amazed how much better I was and encouraged me to keep doing whatever it is I was doing.

I work a stressful job and balance that with family life and all activities associated with having active kids. My depression was severe - it affected my work, home and social life. My first episode of depression started in January of 2008 and was ongoing for almost a year before I started TMS Therapy.
I decided on TMS Therapy because medications had too many side effects and didn't seem to work. TMS Therapy treatment seemed promising. Once you commit to it, you see the difference fairly quickly. Once I started seeing the results, I was encouraged and felt good about the treatment.
10 treatments into the program, I felt happier, started thinking more positively - I feel like I have returned to the way I felt before I became depressed.

I am a small animal, exotics, wildlife and zoo veterinarian. I balance full-time work at a practice with multiple zoos, biologists and wildlife agencies. I enjoy motorcycle riding, looking for reptiles in the desert, scuba diving and reading.
I first experienced depression in the early 1990's - I have had multiple episodes for almost 20 years now. Depression has made me withdraw from my friends and family, focus less on my work and goals, and stop doing the things I enjoyed the most.
I decided to try TMS Therapy because other treatments were not working well, the monthly expenses of constant drugs and their potential side effects. My first session with TMS Therapy was rough, but I knew there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Each session got easier and I was off meds quickly. I noticed a change almost immediately. I was able to sleep better, focus, deal with things, control my emotions and feel more positive overall.
I am now focused and back to doing the things I love. I can handle my high stress job better and I am back to doing things with friends again.

I'm a 33 year old mother of three and have two step-boys, the oldest is 14 and the youngest will be three in June. I don't know what to write, I haven't really been interested in things for years until I started TMS Therapy.
I first began experiencing depression between 18 and 23, but probably younger. I remember panic attacks at 23 which was 10 years ago. My depression is chronic and my anxiety was crippling. Depression has robbed me of so many years and memories with my kids and family.
After a really bad panic attack, I decided to begin TMS Therapy. I'm on treatment number 11 with TMS and my whole life has changed. I have 3 children and have always loved being a mom, now I am ENJOYING being a mom. Finally there is the joy that I have never been able to reach but have always wanted.

I first experienced depression in 2007 - my depression has been mild but chronic. Depression has negatively impacted all areas of my life.
I decided to receive TMS Therapy because I didn't like the side effects of medication. I started to notice a change in mood between half way and three quarters of the way through the treatment course.
Since receiving TMS Therapy, I am able to enjoy life and friends.

30 year old husband and father of two. Have been suffering from depression for years. It's hard to wake up in the morning and even harder to go to work. My depression has also affected me as a parent it's hard to work up the energy to play with my kids. Have tried multiple anti depressants and lifestyle changes and nothing has helped. Also the side effects of the anti depressants were too much to handle.
I am currently undergoing TMS treatment and only after a few weeks its seems to be helping. My family and friends say I seem like a different person and actually seem happy. I will let you know how it goes.
